The Life Group LA has once again been named the benefitting charity for the annual "Switch Hitters Ball" sponsored by the Greater Los Angeles (Gay) Softball Association!

Last year's event was a huge success with over 600 spectators and was so much fun!! This year's event will take place at the Music Box Theater on April 17th at 3pm and once again brings you softball teams that compete in a fun group drag number! These are guys and gals that don’t do drag… so be prepared to laugh with them, your friends and an auditorium full of guests!

The 2010 Switch Hitters Ball is the Annual GLASA fundraiser for teams who attend the GSWS Finals in Columbus, OH in August.

Proceeds of this event are shared between The Greater Los Angeles Gay Softball Association and The Life Group LA!

The Life Group LA presents its Award Winning, Second Annual "Saddle Up LA" An AIDS BenefitHorseback Trail Ride andCountry BBQ, which will be held Saturday, August 25 at Griffith Park, CA.

If you don't have your own horse, not a problem, horses are being made available on a first come first reserved basis.

The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of the fact that the AIDS Pandemic is not over and to raise much needed funds for the HIV services provided by The Life Group LA. It is also an affirmation of the power of compassion and a demonstration that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things.

Judi Evans (Bonnie) and Martha Madison (Belle) of "Days of our Lives," and Evan's son, Austin Luciano (formerly Dante' Cordilini of "Another World"), along with cast members of LOGO TV's "Sordid Lives," took part in the L.A. Gay Pride Festivities recently, riding on the L.A. Rodeo Float in support of the AIDS charity, THE LIFE GROUP LA 

Life Group Representatives on the Float were Ric Parish, Associate Director, Chad Oliver, Advisory Team Co-Chair, Emotional Support Programs Coordinator Chris Bradshaw, Facilitator's Joe Moore and Gary OBrien and Entertainer and Sponsor, Mystery Mike!
